We recommend starting to plan your newborn session during your second trimester. When booking online, select a date approximately 10 days after your due date. If your baby arrives early or late, don’t worry—your session can be easily rescheduled to accommodate their actual birthdate.

The best time for a newborn session is between 7-21 days old. At this stage, babies are still sleepy and flexible for those sweet, curled-up poses, but also starting to show a bit of personality.

That’s okay! While very young newborns are best for sleepy poses, we can still capture beautiful, natural portraits of older babies with more open-eyed expressions and connection moments with parents.

All newborn sessions take place in our spacious 2,200 sq. ft. studio in Everett, WA. Our studio is designed for a comfortable and stress-free experience, with a cozy seating area for parents and a full collection of props, wraps, and blankets. This controlled environment ensures beautiful, professional-quality images while keeping your baby warm and safe.

Newborn sessions typically last 1-3 hours. This allows plenty of time for feeding, diaper changes, and soothing your baby as needed.

Soft, neutral tones work best. Avoid bold patterns or logos. Coordinating (but not matching) light-colored outfits for parents and siblings will create a timeless look. If you have specific questions, please ask!

Yes! To capture beautiful moments with parents and siblings, book a Full, VIP, or All-Inclusive package. These sessions allow us to document the special bond between your family and your newest addition, creating timeless images you’ll cherish forever.

This is completely normal! We allow plenty of time for soothing, feeding, and adjusting to your baby’s needs. Patience is key, and we’ll work at their pace.

Yes! We have a selection of blankets, wraps, headbands, and simple outfits. However, we love incorporating personal items if you have something meaningful you’d like to include.

Yes, but we prioritize natural, safe, and comfortable poses. Our style is all about capturing authentic, timeless images that reflect your baby’s personality.

Your baby’s safety is our top priority. We use sanitized blankets and props, and our hands are always clean. We also follow safe posing techniques to ensure your baby is comfortable at all times.

You’ll get to see your photos on the same day as your session! After we photograph your little one, you'll be guided through selecting your favorite images immediately. This allows you to choose the perfect prints, albums, and digital files without the wait.

Yes! We offer heirloom-quality albums and prints to preserve your newborn’s first moments. Ask about our album packages to create a keepsake for your family.

Yes! We provide soft-proof digital files (unedited images) for $25 each or $700 for a full gallery of 40+ images. These soft proofs allow you to select your favorite photos before adding enhancements. If you'd like additional refinements, advanced retouching can be added to your selected images for a polished, professional look at an extra charge of $25 per image.

Advanced retouching includes skin smoothing, flyaway hair removal, and other minor touch-ups to perfect your images. This service is included for free with all printed images and can also be added to soft proofs for an additional fee. Soft proofs are the preview images you’ll see when selecting your final photos.

We understand that choosing favorites can be tough! Our pricing is designed to be budget-friendly and flexible, so you’re never locked into a set number of images. Individual soft proofs are only $25 each, or you can upgrade to a full gallery for the best value. Plus, every printed image includes a matching digital file with free advanced retouching, so you get beautifully polished images at no extra cost. This way, you get exactly what you love—without overspending or feeling limited.

Your purchased soft proofs will be available for download within 48 hours.

For printed products, turnaround times vary based on the type of item ordered. Most prints and albums are ready within 2-3 weeks, with some specialty products taking a little longer. Rest assured, we’ll keep you updated and notify you as soon as your order ships.
