Maternity Photography FAQs
When should I schedule my maternity session?
Book once you are 25 weeks or more. Most moms take their photos between 25 and 34 weeks. If you aren’t showing yet, we can reschedule.
What is the best time for maternity photos?
Many moms love their photos at 28 to 32 weeks, when the bump is round but you still feel comfortable. If you are expecting twins or have a high-risk pregnancy, book a little earlier.
How much does a maternity photoshoot cost?
My maternity session is $350. It includes 30 minutes in the studio and 3 edited digital photos. Extra photos are $25 each with no minimum purchase. The Bump-to-Baby Bundle, with maternity and newborn sessions, is $1,495.
How long is a maternity session?
The maternity session is 30 minutes. You can add 30 more minutes when you book if you want more outfits or family photos.
What do I wear for studio maternity photos?
You can choose from my 70+ piece maternity wardrobe, in sizes S to XL. I help you pick what looks best. You are also welcome to bring one meaningful outfit of your own.
What do I wear for outdoor maternity photos?
My studio wardrobe does not travel. Bring one flowing dress and one casual outfit. I am happy to help you choose.
Can my partner and children be in the photos?
Yes. Your partner and children are welcome, up to 6 people total. Please let me know when you book.
What should I bring to my maternity session?
Bring a strapless bra, skin-tone underwear, any jewelry you love, and heels if you like. For outdoor sessions, bring comfortable shoes too.
Do you offer outdoor maternity sessions?
Yes, from May through September. Favorite spots include Evergreen Arboretum in Everett, Jennings Park in Marysville, and Discovery Park in Seattle. Outdoor sessions cost the same as studio sessions. Add your location in the booking comments.
Is hair and makeup included?
Hair and makeup is a $250 add-on for the maternity session. It is included in the Bump-to-Baby Bundle.
Can I add a newborn session?
Yes. When you book your maternity session, you can add a newborn session and save $200. I schedule your newborn date with you.
When will I see my maternity photos?
You see all your photos on the big screen right after your session and choose your favorites. Your edited photos arrive digitally within a few days. You can also order prints, albums, and wall art that day.
How do I pay?
You pay 50% when you book. The rest is due 1 week before your session.
Where is the studio?
My studio is at 2815 Baker Ave, Suite 205, in Everett, WA. It is just minutes off I-5, with easy parking, and serves Seattle and all of Snohomish County.

My studio is made for maternity and newborn photography. When you arrive, the lighting, sets, and gowns are already prepared. It is calm and private, so you can relax and enjoy this time. Photos are $25 each with no minimum, and albums and wall art are available too.
