The greatest part about photographing Beth and Ryan’s wedding was seeing the deep and meaningful connection they share. Both this lovely bride and her groom seem to effortlessly sync. Their sense of humor, playful nature, and genuine sentiment for family and friends made their wedding an event to remember. We started the day at the Pan Pacific Hotel in Seattle for some getting ready photos of Beth and her bridesmaids before joining Ryan and his groomsmen at the Georgetown Ballroom for a few more getting ready photos and group portraits. The Ballroom’s decor, red velvet curtained stage, and eclectic accents speaks to the venue’s inherent sense of drama. Of course, I couldn’t leave such a great location alone and I took the opportunity to make a groomsmen’s portrait with classic movie style.

From the venue we moved to the Magnolia Presbyterian Church for a lovely ceremony. Ryan’s anticipation was obvious. He could barely hold still and in the moment Beth appeared at the end of the isle, his eyes filled with tears of joy. Together these two joined hands and promised love and fidelity. Both were blessed to be joined by many of their close friends and family during this moving union. After the ceremony, we headed back to the ballroom for a cocktail hour and some portraits of the newlyweds. From there the night was filled with fantastic food, laughter, and of course dancing. It is my honor to share their portraits with you and wish this lovely couple a lifetime of love and memories that will rival the joy they felt on their wedding day.
