Yesterday I have you the three questions I tell brides to consider when choosing their Seattle Wedding Photographer. Just in case you missed them here they are again:

  1. Do they like the images?
  2. Are you comfortable with me?
  3. Can they imagine being in the photos you’ve seen in my samples?

If you can answer all three questions with a “yes” booking is a no brainer! If you still are unconvinced, here are a few more testimonials from real brides who have been in your expensive (yes totally worth every penny) wedding shoes.

Christine and Ryan were married at Red Rabbit Farms in the San Juan Islands. Before deciding to work with me, Christine looked at a LOT of other photographers. I asked her why she chose me and she replied,

It seemed the other photographers I saw were trying to be hip and trendy with their albums and pics, but your brilliant eye and magical mind make your work incredibly sheik while traditionally beautiful. You are quirky and non-assuming but so right now and ahead of trend. I’ll say it again, as have many others times, best decision I made for the wedding.”

When she said that I was so grateful! It is a wonderful feeling knowing that I helped make her wedding a positive experience. I am passionate about people and my work and it is very satisfying to hear I did my job well. But, honestly the most rewarding part for me doesn’t come on the wedding day, or when I meet with a bride, or deliver an album. It happens when I explain to a couple that money from their wedding is going to be donated to charity. That humanitarian organizations such as Doctors Without Borders and The American Red Cross will benefit from you investment in your wedding photos.  Knowing that we are partners in helping cure disease, end hunger, and recover from disaster, adds a whole new level of purpose to my work. Since I began donating in 2011 my life has only changed for the better. I have greater resolve to do my best because I know it means I can affect positive change in some small way.  Wedding photography is my passion, helping others is apart of my soul. I feel blessed every day that my clients help me do both.ijphoto seattle wedding photographer (5)ijphoto seattle wedding photographer orcas island san juan islandsijphoto seattle wedding photographer (6)
Adria and Jake celebrated their 6th anniversary this year and have become good friends of our family. This has happened a number of times with couples because they contact me after their wedding is long over to work with their newborns and other children. Here’s what Adria mentioned when asked about how I’m different:

You are always thinking outside the box to get that one and of a kind shot which is created for that couple. it makes the couple feel like they are not just your 200th customer but they truly do matter.

Ashley and Tuan’s wedding was the beginning of another friendship and lasting client relationship. Their daughter is now 3 and I’m photographing their new addition later this year!

Irene is the sister you didn’t know you wanted. Funny, personable, and an all around fabulous person with a great attitude and total positive spin on life despite the speed bumps. She listens to your ideas and then captures the moment like you would have never imagined. Wedding, maternity, and the first year of my baby’s life, all beautiful memories treasured in beautiful snapshots.”

If you are planning an upcoming wedding and you are looking for a Seattle, WA photographer, I hope you’ll take the time to sit down with me and see for yourself what sets me apart.ijphoto seattle wedding photographer
