It’s my pleasure to share another session from this seattle engagement photographer. This time we have a great couple who are getting married next July at Inglewood Golf Club.
Katie and Fred met in college. Fred was the RA his Sophomore year and on Katie’s first day she remembers meeting this handsome guy. According to Fred, they officially met a year later and became friends. After a year of being friends Fred finally asked Katie out and the rest is history. This sweet pair love each other, the Seahawks, and their adorable dogs Lucy and Bernie (no relation to the candidate or the guy from the 80’s movie). For their engagement session we went to a few of my favorite spots around the city. It was fun watching people play Pokemon Go! around the Olympic Sculpture Garden while we played in the tall grasses and wild flowers. We also stopped down at the water before heading up to Kerry Park for a great view and some fun with the dogs. Lucy and Bernie stole my heart instantly! These two were well behaved (the dogs I mean, their humans were great too though) and loved to give kisses. Katie and Fred did their share of kissing as well!
While I have shot in these spots a lot lately I love how each couple brings something new to every engagement session. No two loves look exactly the same and it’s amazing to see the similarities and differences between couples. I really appreciated how sweet this pair is together as well as their ability to take direction well. They are fantastic people and their love is just beautiful. We shot our session on Saturday and Katie promptly hopped on a plane to Europe, so I hope that this slide show and sneak peek helps these two who are so far away from each other today feel close to one another.
I’m looking forward to seeing them both again after Katie’s trip so I can show them the cool Save-the-Date cards I designed for them and an engagement album that would make a perfect guestbook!
