I love Hotel Weddings. It was especially great to be shooting a Pan Pacific Hotel Wedding on Sept. 15, 2018 because it poured rain ALL DAY. I know a lot of photographers who were shooting outdoor weddings that day who didn’t have the warmth and comfort I was enjoying during Susan and Jeff’s wedding. Plus a wedding at the Pan Pacific Hotel includes great food, excellent service and beautiful decor. I’m sure that’s why this sweet couple chose this great venue.
Refined and Elegant
Jeff and Susan wanted a classy event that felt authentic. They weren’t interested in adhering to a set list of photos or traditions. They care deeply about their family and friends and wanted their wedding to be about relationships, and having a great time being all dressed up!
I love that this couple has a refined sense of style and chose their venue, decor, and decorations, to reflect that. I especially loved the ceremony set up that featured a beautiful floral canopy and antique dresser. Susan’s bouquet and the table’s floral arrangements were stylish and sophisticated. It was great to see all of the elements work together to create a refined design.
Beyond the surface this couple put together a deeply personal and honest ceremony. They combined their traditions, shared poetry, and told their love story to all in attendance. A good friend
The cocktail hour and reception included lots of laughs and some photos of the newlyweds inside the hotel. We were lucky enough to have the beautiful lobby all to ourselves. We also took advantage of the gorgeous spiral staircase.
But my favorite part of the night was the music and dancing. A good friend sang for Susan and Jeff, and both danced with their children. Jeff danced with his three daughters and Susan danced with her son. Her brother also gave a hilarious toast.
A huge thank you to the staff of the Pan Pacific Hotel for the excellent event!
