Everett Wedding Photographer
On what seemed like the only nice day in March, I photographed Anna and Colin’s wedding at the Immaculate Conception Church in Everett WA. The beautiful weather was not the only blessing that day. Anna and Colin were supported by friends and family who couldn’t have been happier at being apart of their union. Anna’s sister stayed up until 3am the night before their wedding baking their wedding cake. A good friend put together the floral arrangements, and her dad couldn’t wait to dance with his little girl!
For their first look and some portraits we went across the street from the church to Everett High School. This beautiful building was built in 1910. It is listed on the National Register of Historic places, so it was an obvious choice for portraits of this adorable couple. I loved the shots in front of the main entrance, especially the one of Anna laughing as Colin tries to kiss her. In truth, this couple couldn’t stop smiling all day! Even during their reverent ceremony they couldn’t help sharing a smile and a loving glance.
A Perfect Reception
After a beautiful ceremony Anna and Colin joined with their guests for a great party! There was great food, (including some high end caramels I may or may not have eaten a ton of) and so many smiling friends. Even though the wedding was in the early afternoon, these party animals couldn’t wait to get on the dance floor. Anna told me her parents and their close friends had all been apart of a dance group once and it was a shared passion. It was no surprise seeing many pairs sambaing around the reception. Plus a conga line broke out and everyone joined in!
Most of all I loved hearing the kind words shared during the toasts. It was moving to witness everyone’s joy for Anna and Colin. I’d like to add my own well wishes to those already expressed. May God always be with you both and bless your union. Thank you for the opportunity to participate in your special day.
