I’m interested in the Photoshop class, but I use Elements. And i don’t have a laptop. Is there an option for ‘auditing” the class or something?

I’m also interested in the indoor photography for events and the outdoor one. I do location portrait photography and just started to take on weddings. Would you be willing to look through my website and let me know if these classes would be beneficial for me?

    Thanks,

    Julie

      @ Julie
When you say auditing the class what do you mean exactly? Do you want to come and watch? The class is very hands on, so I don’t know if this would work out. I’ve found people learn the best by doing. I also just checked out your website. I think both classes could do a lot to help you with lighting and event photography. I think you have a good eye for composition (love the bride and groom in the gardens, very nice!) and some technical know how can really open some doors for you! I hope you’ll sign up for those classes and maybe borrow a laptop and download the trial version of photoshop? I think you’ll really value what that class can offer also. Thanks for your interest!

I’m here through I heart faces and I’m so excited to find you. I most definitely would love to take the indoor event class, but only if you are willing to let me put it off until Fall of 2011. I’m moving back to Lake Stevens next summer. I can’t wait! I miss it so much. I’ll definitely be looking into your classes once I get back to WA.

I would so love to take the indoor and outdoor event photography….right now indoor events are the bane of my existence! I would love to feel more confidant that I am getting the results I want and to stop playing the trial and error guessing game.

The outdoor session would be awesome as well I would love to learn tips on how to deal with those tricky lighting situations – ie bright backlighting, full sun ext

    Thanks for the awesome giveaway!

I just found your site through the I Heart Faces site. Do you know if you will be offering any workshops/classes during the month of October? I live in Illinois but may be visiting Seattle in October with a friend, and am always on the lookout for photography classes!

  9. June 23, 2010 at 3:41 pm

@Stephanie and Colleen, More classes will be scheduled in the future. If you haven’t already, follow this blog or become a facebook fan to get updates in the future!

  10. June 23, 2010 at 3:43 pm

I would love to take ANY of your classes! But, if I had to choose, I guess it would have to be the Introduction to composition…. or the outdoor photography– a real toss up!

  11. June 23, 2010 at 3:44 pm

Wow, what an amazing opportunity!!! I would love to enter and hope to win the Outdoor Photography class… so fun! (ps I posted this on your FB page too)

  12. June 23, 2010 at 4:05 pm

Can you do second Intro class? I would love to take it, but am super committed that day. I love the short format you have for these classes and I’m so excited to take something. I would love to take any class, but since I’m not sure if I qualify as past beginner, it would probably be the Introduction to Composition. I would love the Indoor Event Photography class if for nothing other than to take better indoor pictures of my kiddos. So glad to find you through I Heart Faces.

  13. June 23, 2010 at 4:08 pm

Ooohhh so many choices and all good ones. But either the photoshop or the outdoor photography course would be my choice. Great giveaway! Great location. Gotta love the NW. :-)
